Yes, that Richard Chamberlain! The heartthrob from “Dr. Kildare” and “The Thorn Birds” has a background in musical theatre and released many records in the 1960s. Beth and Mitch are delighted that he will be singing for us this Sunday. And telling us some stories too! #livinglegend #heartthrob #cool
Adding to the musical merriment will be cute young USC boys Exist Elsewhere, who just released their rocking track “Tokyo” — check out the cool video here.
We also have 4 awesome women gracing the stage this week: Rebecca Corry, Laura Kightlinger, Merrill Markoe and Michaela Watkins. And the super talented Kurt Braunohler makes his UnCabaret debut!

Beth and Mitch are thrilled to welcome Brent Forrester and Emily Heller this week. Brent performed at UnCabaret in its former incarnation at MBar but has been veeerrryyy busy writing for The Simpsons, King of the Hill, Late Night With Conan, Mr. Show and The Office (where he also directed). Sunday he is taking a break from work on the Rebel Wilson starrer Super Fun Night (ABC), which UnCab cohort John Riggi is Exec Producing. Brent is a surfer, too. And you can totally tell that from watching him ride it on stage.
Emily’s been named a Comic to Watch by both Variety and Comedy Central. She is the creator and star of the Above Average series The Future, is currently a writer on the FOX comedy Surviving Jack, has been nominated for a National Magazine Award for Best Op-Ed and appeared on Conan. Plus her pics are funny and Karen Kilgariff really loves her. Karen will be on the show, too, along with Greg Behrendt, Julie Goldman, Morten Kier and conniekim! Yay!
OK yes Breaking Bad is on. But we will be Breaking Good.
