This Sunday, April 30, Beth hosts a line-up of comedy unicorns with 410 less calories each than the Starbucks Unicorn Frapaccino. In fact maybe even 1000 calories less, because after all, laughing is aerobic exercise!

Alec Mapa is so bighearted and openhearted and has such a compelling story that it’s no wonder they call him America’s Gayasian Sweetheart. You may know him from Ugly Betty, Two Broke Girls, Jane the Virgin, or Desperate Housewives. Or from his Showtime special Alec Mapa: Baby Daddy based on his award-winning solo show that irreverently chronicles his journey to fatherhood via foster adoption. But get to know him better. Well worth it. We heart Alec Mapa.

Charlie Hickey now 16, staring adulthood straight in the eyeballs and not flinching a bit. Hickey’s second EP This Is Not Easy for Me belies its title. Nobody who’s 16 should be able to differentiate love from the idea of being in love, but there it is in Hickey’s I Like the Idea of Loving You, with its galloping chorus light years ahead of his contemporaries’ saccharine crushes.” Kevin Bronson, buzzbands.la
