Comedy Women’s March

UnCabaret has been on the forefront of putting women front and center in comedy. We’re famous as being a place for the women of comedy to be their most fabulous. We’ll be doing comedy in solidarity with the Woman’s March 1/22!

Our stage has been a home for comedy from the most original female voices working in comedy today. Kathy Griffin, Laura Kightlinger, Julia Sweeney, Roseanne, Sandra Bernhard, Margaret Cho, Sarah Silverman, Julie Goldman, Tig Notaro, Rebecca Corry, Mary Lynn Rajskub, Merrill Markoe are some of our favorites. In fact the UnCabaret’s very first performance was on a place called The Woman’s Building. More about UnCabaret’s role in women and comedy in this Maker’s documentary on PBS.

We’ll see you at the woman’s march in DTLA on Saturday and then on Sunday Jan 22, we will be at our usual spot, Bar Fedora at AuLac Lac having the funniest intimate conversation about reinvention in the whole known and unknown universe!
